Assistant Professor in Nearshore Morphodynamics at Utrecht University (The Netherlands)

Dear members of the Geomorph List,
The Department of Physical Geography, Faculty of Geosciences at Utrecht University,The Netherlands seeks an Assistant Professor in Nearshore Morphodynamics to strengthen its research and teaching in nearshore hydrodynamics (waves and currents), sediment transport
and morphological evolution of the world’s sandy beaches and barrier islands. As the new Assistant Professor we expect you to develop a rigorous research programme in the field of nearshore morphodynamics and to contribute to our (under-) graduate teaching
programme in earth sciences, mainly in the field of fluid mechanics and/or coastal processes. The teaching load is about 40%.
