The New Mexico Bureau of Geology & Mineral Resources is advertising to fill the position of Director of the Bureau:

DIRECTORNEW MEXICO BUREAU OF GEOLOGY & MINERAL RESOURCES The New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, Socorro, NM, is seeking a new director and state geologist. The bureau, with ~60 employees, is a prominent research and service division of New Mexico Tech and serves as the state geological survey, with a long-standing reputation for excellence in research, service, and outreach. Our mission includes research on the geologic framework of the state, with an emphasis on applied geoscience evaluation of water and energy resources. The bureau works closely with the university academic divisions as well as many state agencies.
