POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN FOREST-CLIMATE INTERACTIONS – MCMASTER
UNIVERSITY, HAMILTON, ONTARIO, CANADA

The School of Geography and Earth Science, McMaster University,
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada is seeking applications for a postdoctoral
fellow starting immediately or from May 2016. Funding is for available
three years.

The successful candidate will investigate climate and extreme weather
impacts on forest carbon and water budgets at different temporal and
spatial scales. Integration of observed eddy covariance flux data,
vegetation ecosystem models and satellite remote sensing data (such as
MODIS) will be desired. Selected candidate will have opportunities to
collaborate with researchers associated with the McMaster Centre for
Climate Change (), Ameriflux and global
Fluxnet.

The applicant should have or be about to obtain a Ph.D degree
biogeosciences, meteorology, hydrology, atmospheric physics or related
field. Strong analytical, programming and data visualization skills are
required. Salary will be $40,000 per year plus benefits. See details at
