[Met-jobs] Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Climate Science- ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate System Science, Australian National University

The Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES) at the Australian National University (ANU) invites applications for a 3-year Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Fellow to strengthen and complement the current activities in Climate Science across
both RSES and the ANU College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. The Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Fellow position forms part of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Climate System Science (ARCCSS). The research programs of the Centre focus on understanding
fundamental physical and biological processes within the broader climate system.

Applicants are expected to have a strong research profile in climate modelling and preferably have experience in land-atmosphere coupling and/or hydrometeorology and/or climate extremes. The successful applicant will play a role in the
development of the next generation of climate models with the ultimate goal of improving knowledge of regional climates.
