Assistant Professor in Geographic Information Science

Clark’s Graduate School of Geography seeks a Geographic Information
Scientist with research and teaching strengths in Conservation GIS,
Earth Observation Information Science, and/or Remote Sensing of
Global Environmental Change. Competitive applicants should have
evidence of cutting edge scholarship, a commitment to collaborative
research, success in securing extramural funding, and be eager and
prepared to contribute to the work of Clark’s world renowned Clark
Labs. Strong undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising, and
mentoring are required, and we are particularly interested in
candidates who link research and pedagogy. The successful candidate
will make important teaching and advising contributions to the M.S.
program in Geographic Information Science for Development and
Environment, as well as to the undergraduate and doctoral programs
in Geography. There will also be opportunities to interact with
Clark’s International Development, Community and Environment
Department
