Job Description: The University of Texas at Austin Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental
Engineering (CAEE) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in water resources
engineering with a focus on innovative experimental, field study, remote sensing, and/or modeling
approaches to advance knowledge spanning hydrological science and engineering. Areas of expertise
may include natural hydrology, urban hydrology and related resiliency, ecohydrology, or other aspects
of water resources engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and
graduate courses in water resources engineering, develop a sponsored research program, supervise
graduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in service to the university and the
profession.
Applicant Instructions: Applicants must have an earned Ph. D. degree in civil engineering, or equivalent.
