Position: The Faculty of Science at Brandon University invites
applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Geography in Applied
Physical Geography. The Department is particularly interested in candidates
with research expertise and teaching interests in water science, integrated
watershed management, climatology and climate change, and/or geomorphology.
Other specialties, complementing existing strengths of the Department, will
also be considered. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to
supervise and teach graduate students in the Interdisciplinary Master of
Science in Environmental and Life Sciences program. Engaging in service
activities is also expected.
Experience: A completed PhD is preferred; however ABD candidates will be
considered. Experience in undergraduate teaching would be an asset.
January 31, 2017, or until the position is filled
Start Date: August
1, 2017, pending successful candidate’s availability
Salary and Rank: Commensurate with the candidate’s
qualifications and experience.
