Research Associate in Isotope Geochemistry, University of Washington


The Non-Traditional Isotope Laboratory in the Department
of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington, Seattle, invites applications for a
postdoctoral research position in isotope geochemistry. Research topics include
using and developing new tracers, especially non-traditional stable isotopes, to
constrain cosmochemical,
geochemical, and biological processes. Information

collaborate with scientists within the department and across other units at UW
such as Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, and Environmental and Forest
Sciences provide access to a broad range of expertise during the postdoctoral

Applicants must hold a PhD in Earth Sciences or a related
field. Experience
in clean laboratory and multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass
spectrometry (MC-ICPMS) is especially desirable. The Initial appointment is for
one year, renewable up to 2 times contingent upon performance. Please send a
