I would be very grateful if you could circulate details of two (2 year) postdoctoral researcher positions that are now available within the department of Geography and Environment at the University of Southampton.
Details of the posts are available here:
1) https://jobs.soton.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=858117WR (Complex Systems Modelling)
2) https://jobs.soton.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=858717WR (Flow and Sedimentation Modelling)
The posts are on a new RCUK funded research project (funded through the Global Challenges Research Fund and led by the BBSRC) project investigating water, sediment and nutrient fluxes (and their links to rice agriculture) in the Mekong delta. The project is led by Principal Investigator Professor Stephen Darby, with other collaborators from Geography and Environment at Southampton (Chris Hill and Dr Craig Hutton), Southampton’s Centre for Biological Sciences (Professor Guy Poppy), Hull (Professor Dan Parsons) and Exeter (Professor Andrew Nicholas) Universities, as well as a wide range of collaborators and stakeholders in Viet Nam.
Please contact Steve Darby (S.E.Darby@soton.ac.uk) for further information.
