Dear colleagues,The Precipitation Extremes and Climate Dynamics group in the Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering at the University of Michigan is seeking students interested in atmospheric and climate sciences for a fully funded Ph.D. position starting Fall 2019. Prospective students should be interested in exploring the interaction between extremes and climate (past, present and future). Applicants should have a background in the physical sciences, physics, engineering or related fields and strong quantitative skills. Previous research and programing (Python, Matlab, NCL, etc) experience is preferred, but all are welcome to apply.Applications for Fall 2019 are due December 15th.
