Laboratoire Aerologie of CNRS/University of Toulouse is seeking one or two postdoctoral scientists for the study of anthropogenic aerosol-cloud-climate interactions in
process, regional and global scales funded by the Make-Our-Planet-Great-Again Initiative. The successful applicants will join a team of scientists to improve the representation of aerosol-cloud processes in high-resolution regional model or global model using
advanced data science skills, and to use these models to study the roles of anthropogenic aerosols in climate. A Ph.D. in atmospheric science or other relevant discipline is required. Candidates with experience in one of the following fields: (1) atmospheric
aerosols; (2) cloud physics and chemistry; or (3) aerosol-cloud interaction in regional and global climate are preferred.
Familiarity with cluster/parallel or GPU computing, and computer languages such as FORTRAN, C/C++, and python, is required. Experience in machine learning/deep learning
is desirable. Proposed starting date is as soon as possible. The contract period is for 2 years, with possible extension to 3 years.
