Quest University Canada (Squamish, BC
https://questu.ca/) is looking for a human/cultural geographer to teach undergraduate classes on topics related to race in January (Jan 14-Feb 06) and/or Feb (Feb 12-March 6) 2019.
Quest classes run on a block system. Each class runs for 3.5 weeks and the class meets for 3 hours a day 5 days a week. They are seminar class with only up to 20 students in a class. It is an
ideal place for motivated recent PhD/ABDs/experienced faculty who is excited to experiment in teaching in a small seminar-style teaching environment. The students are motivated and engaged. There is also significant
room for the instructor to adjust and tailor the course to their own academic interests. We provide support for visiting tutors to adjust their course to the flow of the block.
We provide housing on campus for the instructor and a competitive salary for each block.
