[GilbertClub] Professorships in Machine Learning Applied to Science (Broadly defined)

Dear Gilbert Club:

Attached is an announcement for two new professorships in ‘Machine Learning in Science’ at the University of Tuebingen, Germany.  Geosciences (including Earth surface processes) is one area where we are looking for candidates from.

The deadline is unfortunately soon (10 January) but I recommend interested persons who want to apply contact the Dean of Sciences (email address in attachment) and  ask for a short extension (if needed).

The University of Tuebingen is one of the largest Geoscience departments in Germany and offers an intellectually stimulating environment, excellent quality of life, and ’science friendly’ funding schemes.  International applicants with questions about transitioning to the German University system should feel free to contact me.
