[Fluxnet-Community] Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Lund University

Dear colleague

We are looking for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to support our interdisciplinary, collaborative research project “Climate costs of boreal forest clear-cutting – a multiscale experiment (CORE)”. The research is focussed at Norunda, the forest
research site with one of Europe’s longest record of carbon dioxide exchange between forested land and atmosphere (http://bit.ly/2HCPgXr). We will pursue changes of greenhouse gas sinks
and sources due to an impending major clear-cut.

The post will include a combination of geophysical and hydrogeological field surveys and laboratory work (mass spectrometry and stable isotope tracing), modelling, and preparation of peer-reviewed manuscripts.

We offer an inspiring and interdisciplinary working environment within an international and experienced project team from Lund University (CEC, Biology and INES), and Swansea (UK) and Helsinki (FI) universities, with excellent opportunities for scientific
interactions and career development.

Closing date: 17 February 2019

Starting date: 01 April 2019 or as agreed.

Length of employment: 2 years with the possibility for extension.

Pleases distribute to potential candidates.

Many thanks,

Natascha Kljun
