Dear fellow geographers,
I am delighted to announce that
Dr. Neil Hanlon, Professor, University of Northern British Columbia, and
Dr. Martin Simard, Professor, Université de Québec à Chicoutimi have been elected by
acclamation to the CAG Executive Committee. Dr. Hanlon joins the Committee as Vice President, and Dr. Simard as Councillor. On behalf of the CAG Executive Committee members, I welcome Neil and Martin to the Committee and look forward to working with them.
We have a student councillor position available, and have received several excellent nominations. There will be an election shortly, and we kindly ask CAG members to participate in voting for the student councillor.
