[Fluxnet-Community] 4-year PhD position available – closely linked to EMS Africa project activities

Dear Colleagues,

We have a 4-year PhD position available at Thünen Institute in
Braunschweig, Germany.

The position is closely linked to activities of the project EMS
Africa (Ecosystem Management Support for Climate Change in
Southern Africa, https://ift.tt/2Xflyvm).

The student will mainly be synthesizing datasets from various
eddy-covariance flux tower sites located in Southern Africa. The
towers are paired along an aridity gradient with each pair
consisting of sites with managed and near-natural savanna
vegetation.
