Post-doctoral researcher position in Aerosol, Cloud & Precipitation Interactions 

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the dynamic Climate Processes Group within the sub-Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics at the University of
Oxford. The post is available immediately for a fixed-term period of 3 years.

This position will be at the forefront of modelling & theory-based assessments
of aerosol, cloud & precipitation interactions as part of a dynamic team working on the European Research Council project constRaining the EffeCts of Aerosols on Precipitation (RECAP). A particular focus of this post will be on large-domain high-resolution
modelling (CRM/LES) of clouds, aerosols and their interactions.

The successful candidate will work closely with national and international
collaborators and be expected to develop innovative modelling approaches. The results should be presented at national and international meetings as well as published in high-impact publications. 

Candidates are expected to demonstrate an excellent understanding of atmospheric and physics, a strong background in atmospheric modelling and a demonstrated drive and ability to perform novel research of international standing.
