A full-time postdoctoral position in atmospheric physics is available at Laboratoire d’Océanographie Physique et Spatiale (LOPS) in Plouzané – Brest, France, to work on the development of parametrization of turbulent fluxes at the air-sea interface in atmospheric numerical models in conditions of strong to cyclonic winds.

The required qualifications include:1) A Ph. D. in atmospheric sciences or fluid mechanics obtained before the starting date of the contract.2) An expertise in representing turbulent surface fluxes, in physics of the turbulence, or in atmospheric boundary-layer processes.3) An expertise in Fortran and Linux, and an experience in high computing.
