Arts and Foundational Programs at Okanagan College is seeking a full-time continuing College Professor for a cross-appointed position
with expertise to teach in the area of Indigenous Studies and in one other discipline. The second discipline could be any one of the following: Geography; Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies; Political Science; or Sociology. Candidates with knowledge related
to local indigenous communities are sought.
The minimum qualification is a Master’s degree; PhD is preferred. Applicants must have a minimum of Master’s level of study in both disciplines. Candidates are expected to hold a learner-centered teaching philosophy, and have an active profile in scholarship
and research.
The position is based on the Salmon Arm Campus of Okanagan College.
