The Joint Center for Satellite Data Assimilation (JCSDA) has an opening for a Software Engineer II. The successful candidate will be in charge of developing tools for pre-processing observations, for
making them available to the Joint Effort for Data assimilation Integration (JEDI) system in the expected
format, and for archiving and retrieving them for other uses. The Software Engineer will design and implement an interface to make archived observation data accessible from the multiple computing platforms to JCSDA scientists across partner organizations, possibly using cloud storage solutions.
The position is located in Boulder, Colorado.
